An AARP Safe Driving Program will be offered Wednesday, November 9, 2011, from 9 am - 1 pm at the VFW - Jobert L. Johnson Post 771 in Springfield, VT. This four-hour program improves driving skills in people age 50 and over. It  helps people refine existing skills while developing safe, defensive driving techniques that save lives. Participants have fewer crashes and may save on insurance premiums. The program is instructed by Bob Ammel, AARP Instructor.  The cost of this program is $12.00 for AARP members and $14 for all others.  For all veterans, the program is free in November with proof of a military service card.
