Connecticut Valley Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Welcomes Katherine Silta, PA-C

SPRINGFIELD, VT — Connecticut Valley Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is pleased to welcome the return of Katherine Silta, PA-C, to their practice at 29 Ridgewood Road in Springfield, VT.
Ms. Silta received her Bachelor of Arts from Johnson State College in Johnson, VT. She attended the Physician Associate Program at The Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT, and completed her PA Surgical Residency at The Yale University School of Medicine/Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, CT.
Ms. Silta is a recipient of The Yale University School of Medicine Academic Achievement Award, and is a past president and Legislative Coordinator of the Physician Assistant Academy of Vermont. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She has served as Chair of the South Investigative Committee while a member of the Vermont Board of Medical Practice.
Her previous experience includes work at Mountain Orthopaedic Associates in Windsor, VT; Connecticut Valley Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Springfield, VT; and Dartmouth Orthopaedics in Lebanon, NH. She most recently held an appointment as clinical instructor at Dartmouth Medical School and was a member of the Credentials Committee at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Katherine is a former ski racer and coach and remains active in skiing, cycling, and kayaking. She enjoys gardening and completed the Vermont Master Gardener Program.
Katherine joins the team of David L. Muller, MD, and Timothy Mello, PA-C, who have a long-standing reputation of excellence in providing all aspects of orthopaedics care.
