Billing Coordinator Patient Financial Services FT (80pp) M-F
Skills:  Typing 45 wpm with accuracy; proper use of calculator/adding machine; ability to perform timely and accurate functions of Data Entry. 
Experience:   Must have bookkeeping background or hospital facility billing experience.
Education:  High School Diploma, College Graduate preferred. 

Medical Technologist/MLT     Laboratory             FT (80pp)   
Skills:  Performs accurate laboratory testing, recognizes importance of proper test selection and causes of discrepant results.  Position is second shift with third shift coverage. 
Education: Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology with MT (ASCP) or equivalent. 
Licensure:  Certification as MLT (ASCP) or MT (HHS) minimum. 
Experience: One year general lab experience preferred.  Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician certification required. 

Medical Technologist/MLT     Laboratory                       P/D (Days)
Skills:  Performs accurate laboratory testing, recognizes importance of proper test selection and causes of discrepant results.  Position is variable shift coverage.   
Education: Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology with MT (ASCP) or equivalent. 
Licensure:  Certification as MLT (ASCP) or MT (HHS) minimum. 
Experience: One year general lab experience preferred.  Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician certification required. 

Medical Scribe            Physician Practice Temporary Part-time
Description:  The primary role of the Medical Scribe is to collaborate with the practice physician in the documentation of each patient’s medical chart during his/her office visit.  This well developed team member will ensure a smooth/flowing effective program and optimize patient care.
Skills:  Excellent verbal and written communication, medical transcription/terminology preferred, excellent typing skills with outstanding accuracy, ability to work both in a team environment as well as independently, above average computer skills, with data entry experience, must be able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment under pressure.
Experience:  Medical Transcription and terminology preferred.

Inpatient Physical Therapist     Rehabilitation – Springfield           FT (64-80 flexible) M-F
Skills:  Generalized Physical Therapist demonstrates knowledge and understanding of Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment technique skills with interest and knowledge of inpatient treatment for orthopedic, post-surgical, neurologic, vestibular and more.  Work locations at our Community Hospital inpatient with off-site clinic outpatient coverage minimal.
Experience:  Two years previous experience preferred.  
Education:  Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy program.  
License:  Vermont Physical Therapist License or License eligible.

NURSING OPPORTUNITIES

Registered Nurse          Child Birth Center     P/T (Nights) & P/D   
Skills:  Knowledge of appropriate care for neonates, adolescents, and adults and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience:  Experienced Labor delivery postpartum nursery nurse (NRP, fetal monitoring required).
Education:  Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, Current with AHA Healthcare Provider’s CPR Course.  BSN Preferred.  
Licensure:  Vermont Nursing License.

Registered Nurse                         Emergency Department FT (72-80pp) Variable
Skills:  Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, ability to provide patient care in an efficient, safe, cost effective and compassionate manner; demonstrates the minimum knowledge, skills and abilities for age specific populations; maintains knowledge base for role in ALL HAZARDS Event.
Experience:  One year basic Medical/Surgical experience required.  Previous Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred.
Education:  Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.  
Licensure:   Vermont Nursing License, ACLS, ENPC/PALS, TNCC.  

Registered Nurse            Medical/Surgical Unit    Full Time (60pp) Variable
(One 12 hour call shift required each pay period)
Responsibilities include using appropriate assessment and intervention skills in all interactions of the delivery of nursing care.  Applies leadership skills appropriately, incorporates teaching in the delivery of patient care and communicates with patients, team members, and management in an accurate and timely manner; demonstrates competence in health promotion and disease prevention.  
Experience:  One year of Medical Surgical experience preferred.   
Education: Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing – BSN, ADN, BLS
Licensure:  Vermont Nursing License

Full-Time Employees: employees who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week. 
Part-Time Employees: employees who are regularly scheduled to work less than 30 hours per week.
Per Diem Employees: employees who are scheduled to work on an “as needed” basis, typically working a minimum of two shifts per month.
